Spaces: Pierre Yovanovitch: Paris 16th

. Tuesday, November 10, 2009

A beautiful Paris apartment created by Pierre Yovanovitch. Before opening his own design firm, Yovanovitch previously worked for Pierre Cardin, and he attributes his time there for developing his taste for geometry, materials, and detail.

This apartment is furnished with some rather luxurious pieces of 20th century modernism, including rare Finnish brass chandeliers by Paavo Tynell, coffee tables by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings and Philip LaVerne, an Alexandre Noll table lamp on top of a Paul Evans sculpted console table, and a lounge chair in the style of Karl Springer.
